The Unforgettable Woman began in 2002 as an organization that encouraged full figured women to discover, celebrate and embrace their unique essence by providing workshops, seminars and fashion events that address health, fashion, beauty and style.
In 2005, The Unforgettable Woman hosted the first Tropical Divas Plus Size Fashion Show. Tropical Divas became The Unforgettable Woman’s signature plus size fashion event. Tropical Divas gave plus size models a new look in fashion. Models were seen in bright colors, bathing suits, and Lingerie. We stepped on the line without going over the line.

On July 21, 2012 The Unforgettable Women will celebrate 10 years in the plus community by hosting Tropical Divas 7th annual Full-figured fashion show. Our fashion show will include top plus models and designers from the plus community.

Tropical Divas show bringing fashion, fame to Richmond
Theresa Flatts, director of the 2009 Topical Divas Plus Size Fashion Shows, says plus-sized women deserve the same exposure and treatment in fashions as others models.
She decided to take matters in her own hands by creating
Tropical Divas Fashions, to highlight the beauty and curves of plus-sized women.

This past weekend I was invited down to Richmond, VA to participate in the Tropical Divas 2006 Fashion Event.
The event is given annual by Theresa Flatts the CEO of Tropical Divas . I worked with Theresa last year when she invited me down to be a guest speaker at her Plus Model College event. They welcomed me with open arms and made sure that there was never a dull moment in my weekend!

When Theresa Flatts, Founder of The Unforgettable Woman (www.theunforgettablewoman.org) asked me to be in her fashion show, I was beyond excited.
I relished at the opportunity to not only walk the runway, but also again show how with a little confidence and motivation, you can be a star runway model regardless of your size or body type. I was proud to have been apart of the Tropical Diva Summer Madness 2011 Fashion Show, held at the Clarion Richmond Hotel in Richmond, Virginia
